Here’s a little do-it-yourself project, a very simple, yet elegant necklace you can make just with one strand (2 yards) of brass cable chain. I purchased my chain from a local bead shop but if you can’t find a similar chain, message me and I can send you some if you pay for the shipping charges. Simply take the chain and wrap it twice around your neck and let the ends dangle, ‘ta-da!’ Here’s a pic:

I found this shop through etsy’s ‘pounce’ feature searching for undiscovered talent, and look what I found! Alice Roche‘s clean, contemporary jewelry designs immediately caught my eye. Apparently, Alice draws inspiration from the natural and built environment. “Her architectural jewelry is composed like a pencil sketch capturing line weights, movement, texture and positive and negative space.” The thing that kills me is that she still has no sales.
